“I feel very happy and proud to be part of the SABIS® community, as it has played an important role in our society in terms of providing excellent education to our region.   The moments I spent in school were amazing. It felt like we were a big family and I still feel that way about the school. Whenever I go back, I feel like I am visiting home. My most memorable moment was my first day of school in 2006. I didn’t speak or understand a word of English. Looking back, I feel proud

The moments I spent in school were amazing. It felt like we were a big family and I still feel that way about the school. Whenever I go back, I feel like I am visiting home. My most memorable moment was my first day of school in 2006. I didn’t speak or understand a word of English. Looking back, I feel proud and happy as I have come a long way and grown so much.

The SABIS® Student Life Organization (SLO) is the reason why I have been very much engaged with my own community. At a very young age, ISC-Erbil got us involved in humanitarian activities, such as food and clothes distribution to people in need. This helped me feel responsible and taught me how to give back to my society. Ever since then, I have been involved in humanitarian activities, and this helped me establish a humanitarian organization where I was able to fund 20 operations for children with heart disease from low-income households.”
